Heh, I think you should abbr the DIM thing, because it’s a nice thing for the people who don’t know what DIM is short for, like me. Oh actually, just read your comment on it.

I’ve been thinking about fluid layouts as well. Designing a layout for 800×600 is just… I know some people still use it, but I think majority have moved on to 1024×768? I don’t have figures to back my statement, but I think it’s getting more acceptable to make non-fluid layouts for 1024×768.

heh, i’m glad you wrote what DIM is because that’s exactly what i was going to ask. i suppose you’re the big man (er, but not) on campus since people are coming to you for advice! :) how cool.
